Prior to working at Dropbox, Binani had already established a personal history of leading major transformations, implementing disruptive operating models, and creating strategic business- and IT partnerships. Most recently, he worked at Veritas Technologies from October of 2015 to January of 2018. As a senior director in IT services, he oversaw an end-to-end CRM transformation project across sales, marketing, services, and portals. This project – which delivered around $5 million in savings annually – lasted more than nine months and involved over 250 project team members across nine technology partners, 84 integrations, and 69 third-party apps.

Before Veritas Technologies, Binani held numerous leadership positions at Symantec. During his more than five years with the software giant, he held assignments of increasing responsibility, including senior IT business partner for sales, IT business partner director for sales and marketing, and senior director of IT services for marketing, social, and content. Prior to joining Symantec, Binani held numerous IT applications delivery roles at Dell EMC, a part of the Dell Technologies family of brands. There he was primarily focused on supporting EMC’s software business; and left the company after leading EMC’s IT organization for the content management and archiving division.
