An entrepreneur since his early youth, Martín Migoya is a Co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Globant, the first software development company from Latin America to go public with an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange.

The seed of Migoya's success story started germinating in the 1990s, shortly after he graduated from college, when he realized how companies were scrambling to transform via the emerging capabilities of the Internet. This insight led to Migoya meeting with a trio of friends at a bar in downtown Buenos Aires. Along with these three friends, in 2003 Migoya launched Globant, a company that aimed to become a leader in the creation of innovative software products.

While still only a concept, the forward-looking Migoya assured his three partners that their company would rake in $500,000 in business during its first year. Turns out, Migoya's math was incorrect, because the company actually made six times that number — roughly $3 million in revenue — that inaugural year.

In 2006, Migoya's brainchild received its big break when Google hired it to help test the new Google Checkout payment system. The results so impressed Google that Globant became one of the tech giant’s favorite partners, which greatly increased the company's overall popularity. In fact, as Globant CEO since 2005, Migoya has steered the company from being a small start-up to an organization with more than 26,500 employees working in more than 20 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. In addition to Google, Globant's client list includes the likes of NatGeo, Southwest Airlines, and Coca-Cola.

With more than 20 years of experience in the tech industry, Migoya's status as an entrepreneur and business leader continues to increase. Among his many awards, he was selected as Endeavor Entrepreneur 2005 and has won a Konex Award as one of the most innovative entrepreneurs of 2008. He was also selected as the Argentinean Creative of 2009 (Círculo de Creativos de la Argentina) and was awarded with the Security Award as one of the most distinguished Businessmen of the year for 2009. More recently, in 2019, he was named Top CEO of the Year at the 2019 CEO World Awards and CEO of the year by El Cronista Comercial (Argentina). Furthermore, he is frequently invited to lecture at various events and universities like MIT and Harvard.

Migoya holds an MBA from Universidad del CEMA and a bachelor's in electronics engineering from Universidad de la Plata. He has also co-authored two books, "The Never Ending Digital Journey" and "Embracing the power of AI," in which he offers his insights into how technology is altering the world — and the necessity of companies to adapt during this revolution.
