From there, he would hold major leadership positions at US Bank, Aetna, and Cargill – until he was appointed SVP and CIO of WellPoint, one of America's largest health benefits companies, where he was responsible for all aspects of information technology services.

Most recently, Lang spent nearly five years as EVP and global CIO at Wolters Kluwer, where he was crucial in guiding the company's advancement of back-office applications and infrastructure technology capabilities.

Today, on top of his CTO duties, Lang also serves on the Board of Directors of HiLabs, which offers machine learning solutions for the healthcare industry.
