Since 2012, Tucker H. Marshall has been part of The J.M. Smucker Company. Also known as Smuckers, the publicly traded company manufactures food and beverage products and ranks as a Fortune 500 company with nearly $8 billion in annual sales.

Marshall, a seasoned executive with more than two decades of experience delivering fiscal responsibility while supporting business growth, is responsible for corporate accounting and financial reporting, accounting shared services and technology solutions, internal audit and compliance, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations.

In May 2020, following a series of internal promotions, Marshall assumed the role of CFO. In this capacity, he is accountable for supporting Smuckers' strategic growth plan, while ensuring the business maintains financial discipline and a focus on shareholder value creation. To this end, Marshall has worked closely with executive leadership on long-term strategic planning, including multiple M&A transactions.

Currently, Marshall is focused on using innovative and agile approaches to enhance the finance function, with an emphasis on building capabilities for the digital age that facilitate the identification of value-creation opportunities and improve accountability across the company.

Before Smuckers, Marshall spent the first 13 years of his career in investment banking and private equity at Bank of America and The Reserve Group, where he gained diverse financial and capital markets experience.

In addition to his corporate duties, Marshall is a board member for Urban Squash Cleveland, a program focused on empowering students to reach their potential through instruction in the sport of squash, providing academic support, and presenting unique enrichment opportunities. He also serves as a member of the Global Standards One U.S. Finance and Audit Committee.

In 1999, Marshall received a Bachelor of Arts in economics, finance, and accounting from Gettysburg College. Later, he went on to earn an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Marshall also studied at the London School of Economics.
